In 1949, while William Branham was touring the country as the side-show for "Little" David Walker, Klan spokesperson and leader Roy E. Davis was holding revivals. Having come out of hiding from the San Bernardino children's orphanage swindling scandal with William D. Upshaw, Davis played it safe by holding the revival in Fannin county where he was well respected.
