Feds Check Into Weapons Deal - Find Roy E. Davis:
In 1966, the Federal Bureau of Investigation were alerted to suspicious activity after the Internal Revenue Service began sweeping through records of top Ku Klux Klan officials. During the course of their investigation, it was learned that the white supremacy group was involved in weapons deals.
In the course of this investigation, it was learned that the leader of the Louisiana Klan was Roy E. Davis with an estimated 1,500 members of his militant white supremacy group.
Of interest is the Bureau's findings that the Klan Bureau of Investigation (KBI) was established to infiltrate the state and federal agencies.
