Public Apology And Correction 1942 Updated

September 20, 2019

It has come to our attention that there is some confusion and/or misinformation concerning research conducted in 2015 regarding the examination of William Branham's early healing campaigns. According to the misinformation, William Branham was truthful when claiming that he began his healing ministry the "very day Israel became a nation", and claimed that the date was "May the 6th, 1946." William Branham's claim: The very day that Israel was declared a nation again for the first time for twenty-five hundred years, that same night the Angel of the Lord sent me out to pray for the sick, the very same time, May the 6th, 1946, the Lord Jesus did that.54-0809E - The Manifestation Of Thy Resurrection To The People Of This DayRev. William Marrion Branhamhttp://table.branham.org The two biggest problems with Branham's statement? 1) William Branham himself described healing campaigns in the years prior to 1946, and 2) Israel became a nation May 14, 1948, not May 6, 1946. We stated in the past that should anyone find research published on our website that is incorrect, and is able to provide evidence to support that claim, we would publish an apology and correction. In this case, the evidence was given to us indirectly in the form of a video which incorrectly alleged that the only source of information disproving William Branham's 1946 claim was a 1942 pamphlet. The video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r5lOaNQGAWg The video references a pamphlet that was given to us (and appears to use the images we took of the pamphlet). Whether purposefully or not, the video does not reference the other materials disproving William Branham's claim, and does not mention the inaccuracy of the formation of the Nation of Israel. Specifically, it does not mention William Branham's own 1945 publication, "I Was Not Disobedient to the Heavenly Vision" which described a "vision" that led to a "healing revival". The video is correct in their research and assessment of the 1942 copyright date. Our own findings were similar to theirs and were the reason we previously revised our position on the pre-1946 "healing" ministry back in 2016. (Note that their video is published in 2017). Upon examining our website, however, we noticed that the topic page for the page entitled "1945 Healing Revival" contained the cover image for the 1942 article -- not William Branham's 1945 Healing Revival advertisement. That image has been updated and is now displaying the 1945 pamphlet. The page has also been updated and will be refreshed within 24-48 hours:https://william-branham.org/site/topics/1945_healing_revival For an in-depth walk-through of the findings in our research, watch our series entitled "The Message":https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NS6o_IpnG4U&list=PLl-tFI1G72EcZtRBL-Vc8FMtTHbSWJNcU
