Locals Link Vin Dayal To Ku Klux Klan

January 4, 2020

News media in Trinidad and Tobago have discovered pastor of the Third Exodus Assembly Vin Dayal's affiliation to William Marrion Branham of Jeffersonville, IN USA, who had close ties to Roy E. Davis, William D. Upshaw, and the Ku Klux Klan during the time Klan membership in Indiana was at an all-time high. Through the assembly's media site, "The Watchers", connections were made between Dayal's ministry and Branham via quotes describing William Branham's doomsday viewpoint and doctrinal statements. In some versions of Branham's stage persona, he was very outspoken against Civil Rights, desegregation, and freedom fighters such as Martin Luther King, Jr.

The teachings of a 20th-century American Pentecostal and so-called "doomsday prophet", who had ties to the dreaded Ku Klux Klan (KKK), are part of the sermons of Pastor Vinworth Dayal, controversial head of the Third Exodus Assembly Church in Longdenville.

Branham's sermon entitled "The Third Exodus", which Dayal's assembly appears to have been named after, contains statements against the Civil Rights movement of his era. Branham made his position against desegregation of schools known, rebuking Martin Luther King, Jr., since African Americans had schools of their own:

And I think, if any man was spiritual, could see what's taking place now. We're getting a pharaoh who knows not freedom of religion. When our president took his office, he would not swear to that, that he believed in freedom of religion. What about the other day when we had this question of segregation, down in the South? When this governor of—of Alabama…I wish I could talk to that minister, that Martin Luther King. How can the man be a leader, and leading his people into a death trap? If those people were slaves, I'd be down there, my coat off, beating away for them people. They're not slaves. They're citizens. They're citizens of the nation. The question of "going to school." Them people, if they got a hard heart and don't know those things. You can't drive into a people, spiritual things, what is beat in there with political powers. They've got to accept it, be born again, then they'll see these things.

The homes of pastor Dayal, members of his family, and the church were recently raided by Trinidad federal agents after it was discovered that the pastor had stockpiled over $28 million in $100 bills. During the process of investigation, authorities discovered millions more in Dayal's home, and what is believed to be over a million in the church.

Dayal, who is being questioned by local authorities after he tried to convert $28 million in cash to the new polymer $100 bills on the eve of the Government's December 31 deadline, has frequently used the teachings of so-called end-time prophet William Branham in his ministering.

Using the assembly's media site, reporters identified lyrics from one of the songs Branham used frequently in his sermons as a theme for his doomsday message and multiple doomsday predictions. Reporters also have identified Branham's claim to have been described in Malachi 4 as the return of "Elijah" the Old Testament Prophet, which Branham used to promote himself as God made flesh, and not a man but God.

The Assembly's media site where "The Watchers" is featured and which also states, "Modern Events Made Clear, By Vindicated Prophecy", is headed by a Branham quote: "Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD. Malachi 4:5.

"Nations are breaking, Israel's awaking, The signs that the prophets foretold; The Gentile days numbered with horrors encumbered; Eternity soon will unfold."
