Prosecution Granted Another Hold on Vin Dayal Millions
Prosecution in the case of Branham "Message" cult leader of the Third Exodus Assembly has been granted yet another extension in holding the $29 million seized during 2019 demonetization and 2020 police raids. According to the Proceeds of Crime Act, police are allowed to withhold funds suspected of accruing through illegal activities. Vin Dayal's funds were not released in March 2020 after the case went to the Director of Public Prosecutions.
