Naomi Wright Ministries - New Partner Announcement!

We are very excited to announce the partnership between Naomi Wright Ministries and William Branham Historical Research!  

When william-branham.org first began, its mission was to seek the truth in a collaborative way, and the journey started out under that name with open discussion forums that included several people still within the control and undue influence of William Branham's "Message" cult.  Over time, and as research data presented the need, the mission slowly began to transition from "seeking" to publishing the results.  Many of those same people, now having escaped the cult, became leaders in the private network of support for those who had escaped, and the public means to find help slowly began to lose focus.  This presented a problem that we knew that we would eventually have: growing pains.

Our solution is very exciting.  For the past several months we have been establishing partnerships with others to assist in areas that need more focus and attention and one of our biggest needs has been the public version of the support network.  Not only did we need help assisting people who are building the courage to escape a cult, but also assistance in preventing revictimization; William Branham's destructive "Message" cult is not the only destructive identity cult group.  There are many, very similar destructive cults each having very similar organizational structure and methods.  

Today, we focus our attention back on those who are looking to escape or are in the early stages of escaping and are trying to learn how to plant roots on a solid foundation.  Over the course of the next several weeks, you will begin to notice a change in william-branham.org to reintroduce the public face of support.  Today, you will find a menu link, "Get Help", which will open up the public interface to our support network that is in the early stages of re-creation.  You will also find a new section on our Videos page with Naomi's story.  In weeks to come, you will find means to communicate anonymously and securely with other cult victims building the courage to escape, and a section that includes resources to assist in the journey of building a new life after cult.

Naomi Wright Ministries (NWM) exists for those whose lives have been, presently are, and have the potential to be impacted by an unhealthy religious experience. NWM was founded to serve others through awareness, resources, and prevention. Naomi's father splintered off from William Branham's following after Branham's death in 1965 and began his own sub-cult group, which Naomi was raised in, remaining until she was 28. Years after finding freedom and taking time to heal, she is now combining her clinical experience, her education–Masters in Social Work and MA in Christian Studies–and her passion for eliminating the success of false teachers into the efforts of NWM.
