Albert Matapo Defends "Prophet" Freddy in Rape Case

Albert Matapo, founder of the Mercy Ministries, is defending Prophet T. Freddy after his arrest in charges of rape.[1] Matapo is a former army captain, exiled after his work with Message leader Robert Gumbura.  Matopo was in contact with Gumbura after his arrest, also for charges of rape, in an attempt to secure weapons to break Gumbura from prison.[2]

The exiled former army captain, Albert Matapo has said the arrested self proclaimed, Prophet T Freddy has been hit by trumped up charges.The Goodness and Mercy Ministries Founder and Leader Tapiwa Freddy was Thursday arrested by police on allegations of rape.Freddy is expected to appear in court today.[3]
