USAF Debunks William Branham's "Cloud"
Thanks to the Freedom of Information Act (FIOA), the United States Air Force has debunked William Branham's "1963 Mystery Cloud" claims. Recently, Branham's claims of having a halo captured in a photograph taken in the Houston Coliseum were debunked through the FIOA. Patterns of fiction appear to be fundamental to Branham's ministry and career.

According to declassified documents from Vandenberg AFB, an Atlas missile code-named "Pitch Pine was launched February 28, 1963. The critical part of this document, as it relates to Branham's claims about "higher than any cloud"[1] is in Section 3: Impact Data. The missile was launched out of orbit, and performed a re-entry at an angle of -51.05 degrees. A Nike-Zeus missile was launched to intercept.
This declassified document confirms the document published in Bryan Smalls' book, "Investigating William Branham: The Unfolding Story of Plagiarism and Errors." Smalls described a 1996 letter to George Green of Christian Awareness Fellowship, wherein the Vandenberg AFB confirmed that the multiple clouds that formed in Arizona on February 28, 1963 were no "mystery". They were part of a (then) top-secret missile defense system.
