David Epley Connected to William Branham

Rev. David Epley is a faith-healing evangelist and former televangelist of the 1970s and 1980s who rose to limited fame and extensive fortune by using William Branham's techniques.  A Hopkins County, Kentucky native nicknamed "The Son of Thunder", Epley became a recognized name by his early 20's.  Epley has been labeled a "fraud" by those who have examined his techniques and was convicted in 1962 for false claims regarding collections for a "faith potion" that apparently was collected for a non-existent charity.
