Helping Teenage Members Abused by the "Message" Cult

Around mid-2021 we began receiving several requests for support from former "Message" cult members under the age of 18.  Some of them I know personally, others are from states and provinces around the globe.  My general advice to these teenagers is and has always been this:

Stay with your parents until you are old enough to support yourself; we have many examples of parents throwing children out of the home.  Educate yourself: learn what you are ... supposed ... to believe, then study for yourself whether or not it is factual.  Learn how a cult works, how destructive the 'us versus them' mentality can be, and educate yourself on how NOT to be indoctrinated without your consent.  If you feel so inclined, plan for your escape.  Then, when you are of age, you can make an informed decision and be prepared to do so.

Recently, however, these requests seem to be increasing.  Because of the delicate nature of this type of support, and especially since we are working to educate adults about the horrific ideologies being indoctrinated into children of the "Message" and its many splinter groups, this is not a type of support that we offer directly from William Branham Historical Research.  Through our partner networks, however, we can connect you with someone that is able to offer support.
