We have an announcement to make! Probably the biggest announcement in several years!
For several months now, William Branham Historical Research has been working with a key figure in William Branham's "Message" cult of personality who had silently left the cult. In fact, a large majority of the recent research material on William Branham's connection to Jim Jones and Peoples Temple, Branham's connections to Wesley Swift, whose Christian Identity doctrine William Branham re-branded as "Serpent's Seed", research on Caleb Ridley, the Klan's Imperial Supreme Chaplain who held revivals with Branham, and more came from this former "Message" minister. He has been patiently waiting, healing, and preparing to go public. When he does, all of the very critical information that he holds will be gradually released to the public.
This is no small undertaking. I hold many of the "secrets" that were held by the Collins part of the Branham sect from Jeffersonville, Indiana. He holds many — if not all — of the secrets from one of William Branham's closest friends and associates, a leader of William Branham's cult of personality for several decades. So much of my research raised many questions that were left unanswered; many of the people who can testify to their authenticity have died, some of the information came to me secondhand, and some of it is simply far too dangerous to share publicly. When combined with the information, documentation, recorded (audio, video, and written) testimonies, and other critical research data he holds, however, many of these questions can now be answered. The research data is so expansive that we cannot simply publish a book or web pages in a way that our readers and listeners can fully grasp. William Branham's network of deception, unethical and criminal practices is very large and involves many key figures. Recognized names in the cult have been involved since its inception, and our research on each of them and the topics associated with them could fill books — if not libraries of books. For the past several months we have discussed how best to present this information in such a way that not only helps victims of Branham's cult of personality escape but also provides research material for other interested parties to prevent future destructive cults from forming. We have both concluded that the best way to relay this information is to start from the beginning, slowly, and walk listeners through the history of William Branham's cult of personality in the form of a podcast.
In July, the William Branham Historical Research podcast will be receiving a full reboot. With the exception of 40 episodes, we have moved all other episodes of the podcast into a new "Seek the Truth" podcast. The Podcast Landing Page has been updated to reflect these changes, and they are propagating through our networks.
Here is the breakdown of podcasts this site will be producing:
Free and Clear Podcast - Naomi Wright and I will continue recording the Free and Clear Podcast for those who are recovering from the traumatic experiences they faced in William Branham's (and other) cult of personality. Naomi and I have both been extremely busy this year and have both experienced some difficulties that have consumed much of our time this year, but we plan to resume very soon and explain what has been going on.
Seek the Truth Podcast - When this website began, it was by sheer accident. We wanted to prove that William Branham was a "true prophet", and it started in the form of a blog entitled "Seek Ye the Truth". Over time, and as the exact opposite was proven beyond the shadow of a doubt, it transformed into William Branham Historical Research. All of the older podcasts and audio presentations from that era have been moved out of the William Branham Historical Research podcast and into Seek the Truth. As stated in the description, some of them may be outdated, but it captures the mindset of a person making their journey out of the cult. Any person wishing to take that same journey can do so by listening to the Seek the Truth Podcast, just be aware that we have more relevant and more accurate details being published in the new podcast.
William Branham Historical Research Podcast - In July, we fully reboot the William Branham Historical Research Podcast. The format will be changed to a casual conversation between myself and the minister going public, and we will discuss a wide range of topics related to William Branham's cult of personality, the men who created Branham's stage persona and molded his doctrinal teaching, and the impact Branham's ministry had on many, many interesting historical figures.
We already have a wide range of topics lined up for the podcast. From William Branham's "secret teaching" on the very racially-charged "Serpent's Seed" doctrine to the homosexuality among key figures in Branham's inner circle, to the history of Jim Jones and Peoples Temple during the era when Jones frequented "Message" churches and more, there is enough subject matter to fill many, many seasons. Together, we want to take all of you on a journey through time and examine a very, very dark chapter in American Christianity that was a direct result of William Branham and the men in his inner circle.
