Berniece Hicks Splinter Group Research In Progress
Special thanks to all of the former members of the Berniece Hicks' Christ Gospel Church cult of personality for collaborating to fill in all of the blanks in our research of the CGC splinter group of William Branham's "Message" cult of personality. Our Berniece Hicks research page is now in the process of being updated, and several updates will be published during the upcoming weeks.

Berniece Hicks was "saved" and baptized into Branham's "Message" cult of personality in 1937, and toured with him during healing revivals to play music in the events. Shortly after her baptism, Branham ordained her to teach in his Branham Tabernacle, and within just two years she branched out to assist Branham in spreading the "Pentecostal Baptist Church of God" sect founded by Roy E. Davis otherwise known as "The Message". Even after Branham's death in 1965, Hicks continued spreading doctrines fundamental to William Branham and Rev. Jim Jones of Peoples Temple, and continued using the name, "The Message".
The most disturbing of these doctrines is the Manifested Sons of God doctrine, which empowered Jim Jones to become the central figure of a suicide cult and claimed the lives of over 900 people in Jonestown, Guyana.
