Malindi Cult Taught Branham's Polygamy Doctrine
We are just learning that along with teaching Branham's Serpent's Seed (Christian Identity), anti-government, anti-education doctrines, Paul Mackenzie and his Malindi Cult sect also taught William Branham's doctrines supportive of polygamy. In an interview with Bamburi-based Pastor Darius, a disciple of Mackenzie,[1][2] Darius admitted that he supported polygamy.

I see no problem for men who marry more than three wives. Nowhere in the Bible is stated that men should not marry two wives. In fact, men like Solomon, who married many wives succeed most," said Darius.[3]

In some later versions of his stage persona, William Branham was very supportive of polygamy. Though other versions of his stage persona had mixed signals while saying that polygamy was "wrong",[4] the 1965 version of the stage persona (the version of the stage persona widely adopted by Branham's cult of personality) taught an extra-biblical "covenant of polygamy". It was closely tied to Branham's "Serpent's Seed" doctrine, which Paul Mackenzie taught[5] in the years leading up to the Shakahola Massacre.
Then when the double covenant was made by man and woman, through sex, another covenant altogether (not the original covenant, but another covenant), now what's introduced? Polygamy, in all. Then, after the beginning, polygamy was introduced both in man and in beasts; after the beginning, the fall. God now, secondarily, sets a new nature again, by sex. God created the first without sex. Do you believe that? [Congregation says, 'Amen. '—Ed. ] Now it's another covenant with nature, He sets it in another order, by sex. Second covenant: one male, many females; one buck deer, a whole harem of does. Is that right? One bull, a whole herd of cattle, cows; one rooster, a yardful of hens. Is that right? One David, after His Own heart, with five hundred wives; with a hundred children born to him, in one year, of different women, a man after God's Own heart. One Solomon, with a thousand wives. But notice now, it wasn't so at the beginning, but now it's 'after' the beginning. The woman has done this, then she just becomes what she is now. See?[6]

In 2011, a polygamist group of William Branham's "Message" cult followers at the Evangelistic Tabernacle in Henry County was exposed on Washington's WUSA Channel 9[7] and the Roanoke Times.[8] Branham cult leader Elwood Gallimore admitted that he slept with multiple women. According to Armando Trull, a reporter for Channel 9, Gallimore believed that he was under attack as other polygamist compounds in Texas were raided by the Federal government.
It has been a hot topic of debate among polygamous members of Branham's "Message" cult, because some leaders of Branham's cult are unaware that Branham supported the doctrine overseas (and on recording in the States). Even fewer are aware that some of Branham's strongest supporters such as Rev. Sydney Jackson were polygamous.
Since Brother Pearry Green went back home on August 26, 2015, I felt more challenged to write this letter. Among the living witnesses who lived with the prophet Branham, Brother Green is one of the very few along with Brother Hollin Hickerson, who has openly acknowledged Brother Branham taught about polygamy. {...} With great regret, Brother Pearry Green also handed over his tapes to Fred Sothman. When he asked the latter to keep copies, Fred Sothman refused, arguing that the franchise was not in his name. He was deeply regretful, because Marriage and Divorce was among those sermons, as well as the ones on the 7th Seal and Taking Sides with Jesus Christ. Brother Green had enough courage, I already mentioned, to recognize that Branham had taught about polygamy. He knew that Brother Sydney Jackson, the yellow mane man, was a polygamous who had two wives. Brother Branham never condemned him for that, contrary to what Willard Collins, the pastor of Branham Tabernacle says.[9]
