The Tabernacle of the Lord is a William Branham "Message" cult church in Townville, South Carolina.[1] Pastor Luke Gibson claims that God spoke his name and described his ministry while still in his mother's womb,[2] and that at age 18, he began preaching the doctrine of William Branham.[3]

While Bro. Luke was still in his mother’s womb, the call of God was spoken over him and the Lord also spoke the name that would be placed on him, “he shall be a boy, call his name Luke, and he shall preach the gospel.”[2]
In 2018, police officers were called to restore peace to The Tabernacle of the Lord when London "Message" preachers Matthew Carapella and Steven Ravbar began disrupting services quoting doctrinal statements made by William Branham. Pastor Luke Gibson contacted the Oconee County Sheriff's office[4] to issue a restraining order against the two "Message" cult[5] preachers.
