Still Waters Children's Indoctrination Camp

Still Waters Children's Indoctrination Camp

Still Waters Camp is a "Message" indoctrination camp for children located in Lexington (Scott County) Indiana. Children are required to sever all connections with their parents and "outside influences",[1] cell phones are strictly forbidden,[2] and female children are required to adhere to a "very strict dress code"[3] (There does not appear to be a dress code for male children). Former members whose children attended the indoctrination camp describe several children being forced to sit isolated with headsets listening to sermons of William Branham for hours daily.

Some of the camp activities are designed to give children combat training.  The camp advertises "combat zones", "downed jets", "military vehicles", "bunkers" and more.  Photos have surfaced depicting children with high-powered combat rifles.

The paintball field looks like a combat zone with a downed jet, military vehicles, bunkers, and lookout towers. The rifle range is equipped with highly accurate .22 rifles, complete with powerful scopes and bench rests.[4]

According to Willard Collins, former pastor of the Branham Tabernacle, the camp was part of a broader strategy to collect money from the parents.  In his resignation speech, Collins said described the strategy:

If you get to the young people, eventually you get the parents. And if you get the parents, eventually you get their money.[5]
