God Made Flesh
William Branham convinced his followers to believe that he was the "Messenger" for their "age". By plagiarizing the Seven Church Ages depicted in Clarence Larkin's "Dispensational Truth", Branham trained followers to be seeking one to call "Messenger". Then, through the usage of symbolic examples, Branham convinced followers that he was the "Messenger" they sought. Once this was achieved, Branham began alleging that the "Messenger" was the "Word of God" made flesh among the people of the "age". This, in combination with his frequent reference of John 1:14, was to imply that he was the return of the Son of Man.

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the one and only Son, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. - John 1:14
Then when a man comes with THUS SAITH THE LORD, he and the Message is one. And when Elijah come with THUS SAITH THE LORD, he and his message became one. Just as Jesus, when He come, He was the Word, Saint John 1. So the Word of God and the messenger of the age was the selfsame thing, all the time.

In his eulogy, televangelist T. L. Osborn declared that William Branham was "God in human flesh" and the "prophet" foreordained "at this hour".[1]
As of 2022, William Branham's cult of personality still believe William Branham to be God veiled behind human flesh. According to leaders in Branham's "Message" cult at the cult's headquarters, Voice of God Recordings, those who do not agree with William Branham's sermons are bring damnation upon themselves.[2]
God has once again appeared in the form of a human being, as He promised He would. It is God hidden behind a veil of flesh named William Marrion Branham[3]
