Prophet-God

According to William Branham's Latter Rain "Manifest Sons of God" theology, God was allegedly restoring the offices of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, and Teachers in the current and last "age". This notion was common among the Latter Rain movement but in the Manifest Sons of God extremist sect of Latter Rain, the office of "Prophet" was empowered as a "son of god". In Branham's specific version of Manifest Sons of God, there was also a "God-Prophet", which he himself claimed to be. Not a man but God, God made flesh.

According to Branham, each of the "ages" in his church ages theology was appointed a "messenger", a prophet, who led the people of the "age". He used Clarence Larkin's dates for each age, adjusting the "seventh church age" dates to include his own lifespan. Then, he claimed that when the "fullness of the godhead" was complete, a "God-Prophet" would appear. This "God-Prophet", Branham claimed, was detailed in the fourth chapter of the Book of Malachi.

No leaven among you, that brings the entire fulness of the godhead bodily among you. Couldn't do it in Luther's age, couldn't do it in Wesley's age, couldn't do it in Pentecostal age; but in the day when the Son of man will be manifested, revealed, brought back the Church together with the entire Deity of God amongst His people, showing the same visible signs, manifesting Himself like He did at the beginning when He was manifested on earth in a form of a Prophet-God. Oh! Glory! Promised by Malachi 4, promised by the rest of the Scriptures. Where you worship at? The house of God, seated (in present tense).
