Women Are Behind Every Crime

Later versions of William Branham's stage persona claimed that not only were women the cause for all sin on the earth, they were currently the reason for criminal activity.  Branham supported this theory by agreeing with unknown statistics that claimed that ninety-eight percent of all crime — in any form — was either committed directly by a female or that a female was the mastermind behind it.  The exact source of these statistics, however, was never mentioned.

The reason for this, according to these versions of his stage persona, was that in contrast to Genesis 1:27, females were not in the original creation.  According to his theology, women were "only a piece of scrap", and females were made specifically to deceive men.

Notice, all nature runs in continuity. If He'd have made the woman in the same original creation, there'd have been no sin, because she couldn't have done it, she couldn't have done it. She is a perversion of the original creation { ... } Only a piece, scrap, made of a man, to deceive him by; God made it, right here has proved it. That's what she was made for.
