Women Saved Through Sex

Some versions of William Branham's stage persona taught that female Christians could only be saved through sex.  Building upon his Serpent's Seed (Christian Identity) doctrine, Branham insinuated that the "good bloodline" would be maintained through the offspring of the female, which was her sole purpose in God's "master plan" for the "master race".  During sermons preached by this version of the stage persona, Branham disagreed with Genesis 5:2, claiming that the female human was not in the original creation, and instead was designed by Satan.

She is not in God's original creation. She is a by-product

You may question me about Satan being her designer, but that's the Truth. Satan designed her.

Not only was this doctrine misogynistic and heretical, it altered the role for women in his religious cult following.  Branham taught that Satan's design was specifically for the purposes of sex, and that no other creature in the animal kingdom shared this design.

But she is designed to be a sex act, and no other animal is designed like that.

Branham's "salvation through sex" doctrine relied upon his own creation: an additional coventant that was not mentioned in the Christian Bible.  Branham taught that a "covenant of polygamy" was introduced, and that it was a "covenant through sex".

Then when the double covenant was made by man and woman, through sex, another covenant altogether (not the original covenant, but another covenant), now what’s introduced? Polygamy, in all. Then, after the beginning, polygamy was introduced both in man and in beasts; after the beginning, the fall. God now, secondarily, sets a new nature again, by sex. God created the first without sex. Do you believe that? [Congregation says, “Amen.”—Ed.] Now it’s another covenant with nature, He sets it in another order, by sex. Second covenant: one male, many females; one buck deer, a whole harem of does. Is that right? One bull, a whole herd of cattle, cows; one rooster, a yardful of hens. Is that right?

Then, he claimed that women were not in this "covenant" unless they were married, and then only through bearing children.

So He circumcised Abraham, and that was a seal of the covenant. And now in this day…Now, a woman could not be in that covenant; only a married woman. Find out, couldn’t circumcise a female; so, they had to come in, so her and her husband are one. They’re not no more two; they’re one. How many knows that? Scripture says so. So, her being married, then she—she become one. And go on down here and look over here in Timothy, said the same thing, said, “Now withstanding she shall be saved in childbearing, if she continues in faith and holiness with all sobriety.”
