Many people within William Branham's inner circle are aware that several well-recognized men, both members of William Branham's cult of personality, family members, and public figures connected to William Branham, participated in sex, alcohol, and other substances, unbecoming of what most fundamentalist Christians would consider being "Christian".  This occurred before, during, and in many cases long after their conversion to the "Message", becoming leaders, and included a variety of what the cult considers to be sexual sins — homosexuality, transgender and gender conversions, "womanizing", bigamy, polygamy, and more.  Some of it is still ongoing.

And I'm going to speak very plainly, and I've said it before. And I'm not the least alarmed to say it, because it's the truth. Baxter was a womanizer. He even got drunk on the plane and came off doing the goose-step and everybody laughing at him. In India, he consorted with women. They came to Brother Branham and said, 'Is it right for the father to have these women?'[1]
Rev. Lee Vayle, Branham's parter and publicist

According to the Gospel of Jesus Christ found in the Christian Bible, there is forgiveness for sin and we truly hope that those who participated in the acts that are sinful are forgiven.  Some of their actions were simply extra-biblical cult rules and forgiveness is not relevant from a Biblical standpoint, but they are truly relevant from the perspective of being a leader in William Branham's "Message" cult of personality and/or affiliates.  These are the things they harshly condemned congregants from doing, yet they themselves were doing them.

Many of these men were and still are very dear to me, personally.  We have audio recordings of some of the men, including my own grandfather, Willard Collins.  The purpose of this research is not to "dig up dirt" or to paint them as anything other than what they profess to be.  Instead, the purpose of this research is to display yet another look into William Branham's stage persona and how different the reality was from that persona.  Simply put: William Branham and many of the men in his inner circle did not believe or behave as their stage personas professed, yet they ruined the lives of many very good people for not obeying those same rules.  Had they done what Christian ministers do, and instead helped their victims through the trial and back onto the right pathway, this research page would never have existed.  It is the difference between Christianity and a cult claiming to be "Christian".  Yet even many of the victimizers in this cult were also victims.

Please be respectful as we begin this research.  It is in its infancy, there is much to tell, and telling it will be very delicate so as not to further victimize the victims.

All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did this to demonstrate his righteousness
- Romans 3:23
